Saudi Arabia, Economics, 5/9/2001
The Saudi ministry of labor and social affairs has called for reducing number of the labor force in the Saudi labor force coming from foreign countries at an average of 150,000 workers per year.
In a work paper issued on Tuesday by the Saudi daily al-Riyadh on Tuesday, the Saudi ministry said that foreign labor force in Saudi Arabia should not exceed one million by the fall of the year 2030, noting that the Saudi labor force will be 12.5 million.
