Egypt urges UN to shed more light on Palestinian issue

Egypt's Ambassador to the United Nations Ahmed Abul Gheit said the United Nations General Assembly's Information Committee has to make more efforts to enable the developing world know about the UN affairs and development-and peace-related issues. During the committee's two-week meeting to look for new ways to improve the media campaigns of the international organization, Abul Gheit said Egypt and other Arab states called on me committee to convey the real and objective facts about the events in the occupied Palestinian areas.

Egypt called on the committee to dispatch a representative inside the Palestinian areas 1o get an count of the events there.
