Transport measures facilitated between Syria, Lebanon, Jordan

The Saudi daily Okaz issued on Thursday said that transportation between Syria, Jordan and Lebanon will be shortly made on the basis of only the personal identity card.
The paper added quoting a well-informed source that a joint Syrian, Lebanese and Jordanian committee is currently studying the question of the movement of their citizens between their countries by the identity card instead of the passport. The Jordanian source added that this comes to revive the procedure used to be valid during the 1970 s between Syria and Jordan.
