Arab Media conference begins

A conference on Arab media and citizens' rights opened in Cairo Wednesday with a large number of professors and media experts from Egypt and Arab states attending.
The meeting will discuss for two days challenges facing the Arab media in the new century and the impact on Arab heritage.
Studies to be tackled by the conferees will also deal with privatization of media organizations, communication rights of children, dump and deaf.
The future of television services in the Arab world and media morals from an Islamic perspective are also on the agenda.
