A conference on Sudan in Germany

The German city of Hermansburg will host on Friday the special conference on the problem of southern Sudan under the patronage of three German organizations of concern to the problem of Southern Sudan which are the Church development work organizations; Sudan Forum and Sudan Focal.

The Sudanese daily al-Ayam ( days) issued on Tuesday in al-Khartoum said that the Sudanese minister of state at the peace consulate will submit a paper to this conference under the title " alternatives for self- determination from the government's perspective," which is prepared by several Sudanese political parties.

Egypt is expected to take part in a work paper on its position towards the right of self- determination in Southern Sudan.
