Towards compensating workers who lost jobs

Social partners and the Moroccan Social Security Fund (CNSS) are studying a project to pay a six-month compensations to workers who lost their jobs for economic reasons.
The announcement was made, Abbas Al-Fassi, employment minister, at a TV program.
The project, to be implemented in Morocco for the first time, will give workers the possibility to look for a new job, he said.
The minister added that the government is for continuing dialogue between social partners (government, employers and trade unions) on all labor class grievances.
Relatedly, the UGTM trade Union (lose to the Istiqlal party of Al-Fassi) called on the government to reactivate already concluded accords on the promotion of labor class situation.
