Damascus: five Jordanian prisoners released

The Syrian authorities on Monday released five Jordanian prisoners who completed their imprisonment terms for criminal crimes they committed on the Syrian territories.
Arab diplomatic sources in Damascus said that the Syrian authorities has asked its Jordanian counterpart to make sure of the official documents of these prisoners and their dates, stressing the need of " issuing new documents (identity cards) for those whose documents expired."
This is, however, not the first time in which the Syrian authorities release Jordanian prisoners, as several Jordanian prisoners were released from the Syrian jails previously.
