The Palestinian Intifada continues

The suicide operation carried out by one Palestinian youth on Sunday resulted in inflecting heavy damages on an armored Israeli coach which was carrying several Israeli settlers.
An Israeli military source said that the Palestinian youth detonated a booby-trapped car near the two settlements of "Houmesh and Shami Shamroun" to the north of Nablus and the source claimed that no settler was wounded as a result of the explosion.
One Israeli army soldier was killed and other four wounded on Saturday evening near Um al-Dahem village in the territories of 1948 when they provoked passengers of a Palestinian car, while the Israeli forces imposed a tightened siege in the region in search for the passengers of the Palestinian car.
In the settlement of "Shaari Takfa" near Nablus an explosive went off and resulted in damages in several houses which witnessed intensive presence for the Israeli forces.
The intensive Israeli bombardment of Khan Younis camp resulted in wounding a Palestinian child, while one of the citizens of Deir Sharaf village was wounded. Areas in Gaza were exposed to an Israeli artillery bombardment and the Israeli forces arrested one Palestinian teenager near " Nathania" settlement when an explosive was found in the region.
The Israeli forces bombarded two positions for the Palestinian police near Deir al-Balah village and this resulted in wounding three Palestinians.
On the political side, the Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon refused the resumption of negotiations with the Palestinians before the halt of the Palestinian Intifada, noting that he recommended his foreign minister Shemon Peres to review this position with the Egyptian and Jordanian officials.
