Some 69 constituencies began competing over seats in their Shura (consultative) Council mid-term elections, whose first stage begins on may 16 in the governorates of Behera, Qalyubiya, Menoufiya, Giza, Fayoum, Beni Suef, Qena and North Sinai. The Shura elections' second stage will start on may 27 in the governorates of Sharqiya, Dakahliya, Damietta, Gharbiya, Ismailia, Suez, south Sinai and the Red Sea. Go
