Mrs. Mubarak: Egyptian woman plays important roles in society

The French channel 5 will televise today a special interview given by Egypt's First Lady Suzanne Mubarak in the program called '24 hours in Cairo" which is watched by six million people from all over the world.
In the interview, Mrs. Mubarak praised Egyptian women role and pointed out that the Women National Council was set up to call for women rights, equality in job opportunities and to assist women to play greater role in society in all domains.
Mrs. Mubarak, moreover, highlighted that Egypt wants peace and seeks to realize it in the Middle East region.
Mrs. Mubarak praised as well the outcome of Arab Women Summit held in Cairo under her chairmanship, describing them as vital point in the Arab world history.
