Expatriates transit, sole item of Moroccan-Spanish talks
Morocco-Spain, Politics, 4/28/2001

Moroccan foreign affairs and cooperation minister, Mohamed Benaissa, on Friday said that the transit via Spain of Moroccan expatriates in Europe was the sole item of talks he held Friday with Spanish officials. The meeting, set two weeks ago, studied one issue, that of the transit via Spain of Moroccan expatriates, coming home for summer holidays, Benaissa told the Moroccan second TV channel 2M.

Benaissa and interior minister, Ahmed El Midaoui, Friday paid a short visit to Madrid where they met Spanish foreign minister Josep Pique, and interior minister Mariano Rajoy.
