Two Palestinians killed in escalations in the occupied Palestinian territories

Two Palestinians were killed on Thursday by Israeli bullets at a time when more than 15,000 Palestinians held a funeral for the four Palestinians who were killed on Wednesday in an explosive charge implanted by the Israeli occupation forces near Rafah and the Palestinian Intifada teenager threatened Israel to quickly retaliate this incident.
A general strike was observed in Rafah, and Khan Younis to the South of Gaza, in mourning the four Palestinians, while Patriarch Michael Sabah of the Latin community in Jerusalem said that the Israeli military forces will not be able to break the will of the Palestinian people and their uprising.
Patriarch Sabah added in a statement to the French daily le Monde issued on Thursday that whatsoever houses Israel will destroy, the government of Sharon will discover by the ultimate end there are still a Palestinian people calling " here we are, we want to be free and to restore back our occupied territories."
As the Israeli army and settlers continue to fire shells at the houses of the Palestinians in Beit Hala and the adjoining areas and near Jerusalem, confrontations with the Israeli forces erupted in various parts of the West bank and Gaza.
The general security director of the palestinian Authority in Gaza Lt. Gen. Abdul Razzaq al-majeydah said that Beit Hanoun district is still under the Israeli control, despite Sharon's claims that he had withdrawn his forces, adding that the region is exposed to daily bombardment and the Palestinians are prevented from entering it.
On Thursday at dawn, the Israeli army and the settlers fired shells at the houses of the Palestinians in Beit Jala and the neighboring areas under the pretext that the Gelo settlement near Jerusalem was exposed to fire.
Palestinian sources said that the Israeli army opened its fire at the houses of the Palestinians in Ramullah and in the adjoining areas and in hebron.

News reports said that the Palestinians threw stones at Israeli positions in Rafah and also opened fire at several positions for the Israeli army patrols, in retaliation to the attacks made by the Israeli army at the palestinian houses.
For the second time, the Israeli settlers on Wednesday attacked Palestinian citizens in Jerusalem, using weapons.
The news reports added that the settlers attacked a group of Israeli police who tried to interfere to prevent the clashes between the two sides and this also resulted in wounding of one Israeli police man.
The Israeli settlers also attacked the Palestinians in Hebron and this resulted in wounding one Palestinian child and the burning of several Palestinian properties in the city which witnesses violent confrontations with the Israeli soldiers.
Wael Sharif, a member in the Fatah movement in Hebron was exposed to the Israeli fire in an assassination attempt by the Israeli forces.
Palestinian medical sources stressed that the Palestinian worker ( Atif Ahmad Wahdan) ( 40 year old) died after he was hit in his head by an Israeli bullet while he was working, together with a group of Palestinian workers in an orange farm near the fence separating between the Palestinians and Israeli territories.
The Palestinian youth Ibrahim Hammad Abu Hweili died on Thursday of his wounds after he was hit by the beginning of this month in confrontation with the Israeli forces in Khan Younis to the south of Gaza.
