Al-Assad visits IT exhibition

Syria's President Bashar al-Assad and his wife on Thursday visited the 7th exhibition for Information Technology and Communications Shaam 2001, which is organized by the Syrian Informatics Society at the Damascus city International Fairs. The President and his wife toured the exhibition's various pavilions which include most advanced computer and communications systems, Internet services, telephone exchanges and via-satellites communications for the Internet.

The president and his wife talked to specialists, to directors of the pavilions and visitors on the content of the exhibition.
