Confrontation continue between the Palestinians, the Israeli army

Palestinian medical sources announced on Tuesday that Youssef Hussein Abu Hamdah ( 40 year old) from al-Shatee ( coast) camp in Gaza was killed when Israeli soldiers opened fire at him to the south of Ramullah and that one Israeli tank shelled Arab citizens in Rafah and this resulted in wounding strongly three Palestinians and the destruction of several houses at Salah eddine gate.

Similarly, the Israeli forces demolished houses in Wadi al-Salqa area to the south of Deir al-Balah including one house for Ibrahim Abu Amre and sealed a potable water well and leveled agricultural lands after uprooting its trees.

The Palestinian youth Eyad al-Hreish ( 24 year old) was killed and several other Palestinians were wounded during the confrontations which were renewed on Tuesday evening between the Palestinian Intifada youths and the Israeli soldiers in Qalqilya city.

The Palestinian security official in Gaza Khaled Abu al-La held Israel responsible for the killing of the Palestinian child Muhannad Nizar Muharib ( 11 year old) who was deliberately killed by the Israeli forces when he was taking place in the funeral of the Palestinian army officer Madi Khalil Madi on Sunday in Khan Younis. Madi was also killed by the Israelis.

The Israeli forces dismantled an explosive which was placed near one bus station to the north of Jerusalem.

The Israeli army chief of staff Shaoul Mofaz renewed demanding the Palestinian Authority to take practical measures to halt the Intifada and arrest its activists. Similar demands were expressed by the Israeli minister Dany Nafe.

The chairman of the Israeli extremist al-Mifdal party Yitzhak Levy said that lifting the siege imposed on Areiha will endanger the Israeli settlements.

He called on the government of Sharon to tighten the siege on the Palestinian territories.
