Kuwaiti- British joint defense agreement renewed

The British ambassador to Kuwait Richard Mayor has announced that the joint defense agreement between his country and Kuwait was renewed spontaneously.
In a statement to the Kuwaiti daily al-Watan issued on Monday, Mayor added that the signing decrees to renew this agreement should be attended by the Kuwaiti and British defense minister, prior to February 2002.
