Ethiopian prime minister arrives in Saudi Arabia

The Ethiopian prime minister Meles Zenadi started on Monday a visit to Saudi Arabia which will last for two days, which is his first visit and marks the beginning of a tour in the Arab Gulf region.
Zenadi will hold talks with the Saudi officials pertaining to means of strengthening and developing relations between the two countries and conditions in the African continent and issues of mutual concern. He will also meet with members of the Ethiopian community in Saudi Arabia.
The Ethiopian prime minister is accompanied during his visit to Saudi Arabia by a high ranking delegation including the foreign minister Seyoum Sefein, the minister of social affairs and Labor, the minister of energy and minerals and high ranking officials at the Ethiopian government. The ministers accompanying their premier will hold bilateral meetings with their Saudi counterparts.
