Kharazi to visit Damascus

The Qatari daily al-Watan said on Saturday that "the Iranian foreign minister Kamal Kharazi will visit Lebanon and Syria within the few coming days to hold consultations with high ranking officials in the two states and to coordinate stances concerning accelerated developments in the region, especially the Israeli aggression against the Syrian radar position in Lebanon."
According to sources which the paper described as well-informed, Kharazi will meet with President Bashar al-Assad and will convey to him an important message from the Iranian leadership.
Al-Watan added that Kharazi will also meet with leaders of the Hizbullah Party and leaders of the opposition Palestinian groups in Damascus.
