Tunisian, Iranian relations

The Tunisian prime minister Muhammad al-Ghanoushe and the first Iranian vice President Hassan Habibi have praised cooperation relations existing between Tunisia and Iran and described these relations as entering a new phase and of a special impetus in all fields.

In two separate statements, al-Ghanoushe and Habibi stressed, following the former's arrival in Tehran on Saturday the desire of their two countries to strengthen and developing bilateral cooperation relations and opening new prospects for such a cooperation.

Al-Ghanoushe explained that the aim of his visit to Tehran is to strengthen and boosting trade and economic co-operation relations, noting that during this visit several economic agreements will be signed.
