Ebeid's Gulf tour boosted bilateral relations

President Hosni Mubarak reviews in hours a report on the outcome of Prime Minister Atef Ebeid's Gulf tour that took him to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Ebeid said that the tour achieved its objectives in the economic and political areas, adding that the government of Egypt, Dubai and Emirate had agreed on setting up a joint task force to boost bilateral relations and augmenting trade between the two sides.
Ebeid said following a meeting with Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Mohamad Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum that the official announcement on formation of this task force, its members and mandate will be made within weeks.
Sheikh Mohamad, also Defense Minister of the United Arab Emirates, is currently in Egypt to take part in Egypt's International Horse Endurance Race.
