Shura Council mid-term elections

Within the next few days, the first mid-term elections to Shura Council in the 21st century will start under full judiciary supervision in all stages. The elections will take place in 68 constituencies in 24 governorates to elect 88 members, beside 44 to be appointed by the President. The National Democratic Party (NDP) will run for the elections, beside 14 opposition parties.
