Azmi Beshara heads for Damascus

Israeli press sources said on Friday that the Arab parliamentarian at the Israeli Knesset Azmi Beshara headed for Damascus in a visit to Syria.
The Palestinian weekly ( Panorama) issued in the Palestinian territories of 1947 said that Beshara will meet with several Syrian officials.
Sources close to Beshara denied news that the Israeli foreign ministry to have any links to this visit or that Beshara is carrying a message of mediation between Syria and Israel following the Israeli bombardment of the Syrian radar in Lebanon.
