Egyptian premier confers with Belgian foreign minister

The Egyptian prime minister Atif Obeid on Friday in Cairo discussed with the Belgian foreign minister Loi Michael Egyptian Ð European relations and the stumbled peace in the Middle East. Following the meeting, the Belgian minister said he had discussed with Obeid the role played by Belgium and the European Union in giving a push forward to the ME peace process and to achieving a genuine peace for all peoples of the region.
Michael described the situation in the Middle east as complicated and as needing continued political and diplomatic efforts in order to reach a solution for all problems in the region.
