Israel continues bombardment of South Lebanon

The Israeli warplanes on Thursday continued its violations of the Lebanese airspace. Especially over the capital Beirut and the southern Lebanese areas. The Israeli artillery bombarded the border areas adjoining the blue line.
Meantime, the Lebanese President Emil Lahoud stressed to his visitors on Thursday that Lebanon who could in the past eliminate difficulties and years of sufferings will be today, thanks to the unity of its people and their solidarity and commitment to their state from withstanding challenges at all levels.
The Lebanese president stressed the need that the Lebanese people should deal with debated issues with reason and realism and should put the interest of Lebanon above any other interest, noting the danger of a wrong reading to conditions in the region.
