Khaddam confers with Asaad Abdul Rahman

The Syrian vice- President Abdul halim Khaddam on Thursday received member of the PLO executive committee, who is also responsible for the file of the Syrian- Palestinian relations Asaad Abdul Rahman.

Abdul Rahman also met with the Syrian minister of information Adnan Omran at the Syrian ministry of information.

During the two meetings discussions dealt with conditions in the regions especially under the Israeli aggression against Syria, Lebanon and Palestine as well as prospects of inter- Arab coordination and cooperation especially Syrian- Palestinian coordination as well as issues of mutual concern.

This is, however, Abdul Rahman's second visit to Damascus within one week and his fourth visit within one month.
