Gulf chambers call for establishing the common market

The federation of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) chambers has called in its 26th meeting held in Manama on the Gulf member states to double their efforts to move from the phase of joint economic cooperation to the phase of the joint GCC market and integration.
In a speech he delivered at the meeting, the chairman of Bahrain's chambers of commerce and industry Ali Bin Youssef Fakhro said that the Gulf private sector is prepared to play the role that complies with the hopes pinned on it in this phase if basics furnishing for its developments will be available.
The federation's agenda included the promotion of the united Gulf agreement, memorandum on reissuing the certificates of origin for the Gulf chambers and discussing the role played by the GCC's federation's council in introducing the vision of the private sector on uniting the Gulf currency.
