Mubarak discusses files of talks with Schroeder, Iliescu, and Putin

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak chairs in a few days an expanded ministerial meeting to discuss the issues to be tackled during his European tour and his talks with German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder, Roman President Ion Iliescu and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The tour will begin with a visit to Germany on April 24, Romania on April 25 and Russia on April 26.
President Mubarak's political advisor Osama Al-Baz said the President's visit to Moscow will offer a good opportunity to stress importance of a Russian active role in the Middle East peace process, now that Russia is one of the two peace process sponsors.
The third session of the Russian-Egyptian joint committee on trade, economy, scientific and technical cooperation is expected to kick off next Wednesday, to last till Monday.
Egypt's Ambassador to Romania Samir Al-Hattab said the Egyptian-Romanian talks aim at furthering bilateral relations in economic and trade fields, adding that the meeting will be the third between President Mubarak and his Rumanian counterpart.
