Al-Assad gets a message from Romanian counterpart

President Bashar al-Assad on Friday received a message from the Romanian President Ion Eliescu. The message was handed by the Romanian assistant foreign minister during his meeting on Friday with the foreign minister farouk al-Shara in Damascus.
Discussions between the two sides dealt with bilateral relations between the two countries and means of strengthening them in all fields.
They also dealt with developments in the ME region and the Balkans.
