Egypt renews denial of Jewish participation in building the Pyramids
Egypt, History, 4/14/2001

The Egyptian minister of Culture Farouk Hosni has refuted, once again, on Thursday Israel's claims on the role played by the Jews in building al-Jiza pyramids and their contribution to building certain archaeological areas in al-Fantin island ( Jazirat al_fantin) in Aswan.

Hosni told journalists upon opening a photo exhibition at al-Nouba Museum in Aswan ( 950 Km to the south of Cairo) " The Jews did not take part in building the pyramids which are considered royal tombs, and it was not permitted to those who follow another religion, rather the religion of the Pharaoh, the King, to take part in building these holy tombs and temples."

Hosni continued " European archaeologists who studied and registered very well the old Egyptian civilization, know that the lies of the Jews in their claims that they had contributed to building the pyramids and over their presence in al-Fantin island in Aswan, and that the antiquities there are Aramaic."

Hosni added " The Jews entered Egypt with our Master Abraham (Ibrahim) and some of them left it after the defeat of the Hexos and they had no worthy mentioning role in building the Pharos civilization."

Worthy mentioning that al-Fantin Island which is also called West Aswan Island in situated in the downtown of the Nile in the city of Aswan and over its soils of almost 10 hectares area are spread antiquities date back to different ages since the pre-history ages until the Patlam and Romania eras.
