Two Palestinians killed, 55 wounded in clashes with the Israelis

The Israeli occupation forces broke into a refugees camp near Khan Younis, using tanks, while the Israeli artillery and planes were bombarding the camps with tens of missiles. This resulted in killing two Palestinian citizens and the wounding of 55 whereas numerous number of houses were destroyed.
News reports said that the Israeli forces incurred 200 meters inside the camp and fires started and the people merged with the Israeli forces in confrontations described by news agencies as real wars.
A Palestinian spokesman said that the aggression was confronted by a massive resistance that lasted for several hours, adding that the missile bombardment by the Israeli forces destroyed 31 houses and displaced their occupants.
In an official statement, the spokesman added that the US has to carry out its role in halting the Israeli schemes which violated the peace process and threatens the security of the whole region.
The commander of the Israeli forces in Gaza Brigadier Yaear Nafeh said that the operation which was carried out near Khan Younis is part of a continued military plan to protect the Israeli settlers.
The two Palestinian who were killed are Elias Eid ( 45 year old) from the Palestinian national security forces and Hani Abu Rezk ( 25 year old). The palestinian youth Mutaaz Saeed Subh ( 18 year old) died because of his head wounds after the Israeli soldiers opened fire at him during the confrontations took place bear Jenin.
The Secretary general of the Palestinian Authority al-Tayeb Abdul Rahim said that the operation of breaking in to the camp is a real war by all means and that the international community has to ensure real protection of the Palestinian people who have been exposed to extermination campaign.
The Palestinian chief negotiator Saeb Oreikat said that the government of Sharon does not have a peace project, rather seek the palestinian to be surrendered, to destroy their houses and intensify the settlement, noting that the " Intifada will continue and the Palestinian will struggle to restore back their rights." On the other hand the American " Human rights watch" organization said that the Israeli army is responsible for the flagrant violations in the occupied Arab territories, especially the over-use of power and the deliberate killing operations against the unarmed Palestinians.
The organization added that the settlers committed acts of violence with the help of the Israeli army and that an international force should be employed to unveil the Israeli violations.
The Swedish ambassador to Cairo said that the Israeli settlement operations destroy peace as a whole, noting that this position he states is that the position and the very opinion of the European Union.
