Qatar - Lesotho to establish diplomatic relations

The state of Qatar and the Kingdom of Lights on Tuesday in New York agreed to establish bilateral diplomatic relations at the Ambassadorial level. This was in the context of the desire of the two countries to strengthen and develop bilateral co-operation relations in various fields.
The Gulf News Agency said that the joint statement signed by the representatives of both Qatar and Lesotho at the UN stressed that this step has stemmed from the desire of the two countries to build bilateral relations, according to the UN charter and on the ground of peaceful co-existence, equality and mutual respect of sovereignty and each country's territorial integrity and non interference in the internal affairs of the other party.
