Islamic organization urges UN Security Council permanent members to save Palestinian people

The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO/based in Rabat) urged the five permanent member countries of the UN security council to take an immediate initiative to end the Israeli aggression Israel aggression against the Palestinian people.

The Director General of ISESCO, a body of the Organization of Islamic organization sent a letter to the five states calling them to take urgent action to with a view to safeguarding world peace and security, halting the unjust Israel aggression against the Palestinian people, and condemning Israel's violation of all international laws.

ISESCO says in a statement the move comes in compliance with the charter of ISESCO, which mandates its to contribute to the maintenance of peace and security worldwide through all means, particularly education, science, culture and communication.

In his letter, Altwaijri appealed to the heads of state of the United States of America, the Russian Federation and France, and to the prime ministers of Great Britain and People's Republic of China, conveyed the Muslim World's deep concern at the all-out aggression perpetrated by the Israeli occupation authorities against the Palestinian people by means of an impressive war arsenal, including helicopters, tanks and heavy artillery, thus exposing the Palestinians to genocide, and wreaking havoc the Palestinian National Authority's institutions and facilities.

There practices add up to the assassination of Palestinian leaderships, and stepping up a state terrorism through the policies of systematic siege, starvation, deprivation and racist declarations, the letter deplores.

ISESCO also warns of imminent danger, opening the way for the worst scenarios of deterioration of conditions in Palestine in a way that seriously threatens peace, security and stability in the region.

ISESCO's director general concludes: "History will always remember your contribution to maintaining peace and security in Palestine should you respond to the call of your conscience and meet the requirements of justice and right. Humanity will ever praise the initiative you will take in order to save the Palestinian people from the genocide war waged by the Israeli occupation authorities.
