Ruler of Kuwait sends a message to Putin

The Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday in Moscow received a message from the ruler of Kuwait Sheikh Jaber al-Ahmad al-Sabah relating to bilateral relations and the situation in the Gulf region.
The message was handed over by the Russian foreign minister Igor Ivanov from the envoy of the Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Saud Naser al-Sabah, who is in a your covering also Turkey, Iran and China.
During the meeting Ivanov stressed that his country given top priority to developing bilateral relations between the two countries.
He expressed hope that such relations will contribute to establishing stability in the Gulf region, noting that Russia has exerted and will make efforts to normalize the situation concerning Iraq and the Gulf region.
