Palestinian economy losses $ 2 billion because of the Israeli siege

The trade official at the Palestinian authority Maher al-Masri has asserted that losses of the Palestinian authority because of the siege policy and military closure imposed by the Israeli occupation authorities on the Palestinian territories exceeded USD two billion.
Al-Masri added in statements, quoted by the BBC that the Israeli authorities which imposed restrictions on the movement of the Palestinians affected the Palestinian economic life in all fields and increased the rate of unemployment in the lines of the Palestinian people to more than 50%.
