Slovak President concludes constructive visit to Syria

Slovak President Rudolf Schuster, his wife and members of the accompanying delegation left Damascus on Friday afternoon following a three- day visit to Syria.
The guest president and members of the accompanying delegation were seen off at Damascus airport by President Bashar al-Assad and his wife, foreign minister Farouk al-Shara and transport minister Mukarram Obeid, head of Honor mission also saw the Slovak President off.
Earlier, President Schuster and his wife visited the liberated city of Quneitra. He was accompanied by Transport minister and his wife.
The Slovak President was welcomed a Quneitra's entrance by Governor Hilal al-Atrash. The governor briefed President Schuster on Qunietra's province before and after the Israeli occupation.
He spoke of the struggle of the Syrian people to liberate Quneitra, and restore the rest of the occupied Syria lands.
President Schuster toured the city of Quneitra and saw the results of the savage deliberate Israeli destruction of the city before withdrawal.
He planted an olive tree in Quneitra friends garden, and laid a wreath on the martyrs monument.
Then, the President and his companions visited the Slovak unit working within the framework of the Golan- based UNDOF forces. He was briefed on their conditions and wishes them all success.
