Moroccan-Saudi labor commission set up
Saudi Arabia-Morocco, Economics, 4/6/2001

Morocco and Saudi Arabia convened to set up a technical commission that will deal with cooperation in the field of labor.

The decision was made by Saudi minister of labor and social affairs, Ali Ben Ibrahim Al-Nimla, and secretary general of the Moroccan ministry of employment, M'Hamed Karmouni, at a meeting on the sidelines of the ongoing session of the Arab Labor Organization (ALO) held in Amman.

The commission will draft a convention regulating Moroccan-Saudi labor cooperation, Karmouni told MAP in Amman.

The two sides also discussed the exchange of information on job opportunities in both states.
