Omar al-Mukhtar name is given to one Italian street

The Italian authorities have given the name of Omar al-Mukhtar to one of the main Italian streets. Al-Mukhtar is the Libyan militant who bravely fought in defense of his country against the Italian occupation.
The Libyan daily al-" Jamahereyah" described this Italian step as an apology of the colonialist past of Italy and also a " civilized stand" that worthy to be greatly appreciated.
