Mohammed V solidarity foundation: audit on Ramadan operation

The international audit firm KPMG has audited the financial balance of the solidarity operation conducted by the Mohammed V Solidarity Foundation during the month of Ramadan 1421, a statement by the foundation governing board said.

The audit showed that the financial balance reflects faithfully the receipts and expenses which amount to 67,688,189 DH, the statement said.

The Ramadan solidarity operation benefited in the urban areas 40,350 persons who were given a ftour (fast breaking meals) every day. 1,170,150 meals worth 9.96 DH each were thus distributed to urban needy dwellers. In the rural world, 406,400 household chiefs or 2,032,000 persons benefited from the operation consisting in the donation of a batch of foodstuffs worth 138 DH.
