Abu Dhabi's International Book exhibition opens

The United Arab Emirates UAE minister of higher education and scientific research Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak al-Nahyan on Wednesday in Abu Dhabi opened activities of Abu Dhabi's international book exhibition with the participation of some 33 Arab and foreign countries.

The exhibition includes more than 200,000 in both Arabic, English and other languages. It includes more than 2 million books distributed of 420 pavilions. Some 514 Arab and foreign publication houses are taking part in the said book exhibition.

On the sideline of the exhibition, a Palestinian exhibition is being held for the first time at the Arab level under the title " one hundred martyrs, one hundred life." This exhibition includes pictures for the martyrs of al-Aqsa Intifada and narrates their life-stories. A lift which is abundant with human eagerness to freedom and the spirit of militant struggle.

The exhibition which will last for 10 days and held at Abu Dhabi's cultural complex is coupled by varied collections of cultural, artistic, poetic, theatrical, cinema, scientific and technical activities.
