Maghreb workers union to meet next may in Tunisia

The trade union of Arab Maghreb workers will hold its congress next May 19-20 in Tunisia, the Moroccan trade union (UMT) announced in Amman.
The decision to convene the congress was held in parallel to the 28th session of the Arab Labor Organization (ALO) held in the Jordanian capital, Amman.
An official from the UMT also announced that the UMT delegation reviewed with members of the international Arab Workers Union the agenda of the Arab Union Council to meet next March in Casablanca.
The UMT, which is chairing the Moroccan delegation to the ALO meeting in Amman, will make a presentation on the need to promote Arab workers role in economic development, the free circulation of workers in the Arab world, training and social coverage.
