One Israeli soldier killed in confrontation with the Palestinians

Clashes in the occupied Palestinian territories escalated on Monday. The Palestinians retaliated the Israeli practices.
In this regard a booby trapped car went off near a group of Israeli soldiers stationed to the Southern west of Nablus and the Palestinians attacked one Israeli soldier at al-Raam barrier to the north of Jerusalem and he was wounded as a result. The Palestinian also wounded a woman Israeli soldier.
An Israeli military spokesman said that soldier Yaqoub Frenshel was killed in the confrontation took place near Salem village, Nablus and admitted that the efficiency of the Intifada increased and number of operations carried out in new ways by the Palestinians increased especially in Gaza.
The Israeli spokesman also admitted that the Intifada youths opened fire on Monday at an Israeli military position near Nablus during a massive demonstration and that one Israeli woman soldier in the army was wounded in Jerusalem when she was exposed to an attack and one of her attackers took her weapon which is a machine- gun M16 and fled away.
A report by the Israeli army said that the Palestinians carried out some 4140 attacks since the eruption of the Intifada on September 28 and these attacks resulted in killing 7 Israelis and wounding 562.
The Israeli army chief of staff Gen. Shaoul Mofaz admitted the escalation of the activities of the Intifada saying that " number of operation conducted by the Palestinians exceeded 4000," noting that the Palestinian authority systems are taking part in the activities of the Intifada. He continued that Sharon government proceeds in its plans aiming at suppressing the Intifada by all means.
In line with the Israeli threats, the Israeli forces continued attacks at Palestinian cities and towns. In Bethlehem, Beit Jala and Aida and al-Ezza camps and the surrounding of al-Bardai hotel 8 Palestinian were wounded and on Monday an Israeli helicopter fired three missiles at a Palestinian car while running in one of Rafah streets and this resulted in killing the Palestinian youth Muhammad Abdu Aael ( 26 year old), who is one of the Islamic Jihad organization's activists. Two others accompanying his in the car were seriously wounded. Other three palestinian who were near the car were also wounded by fragments of the missiles.
The Islamic Jihad Organization threatened that its answer to the killing of Abdu Aael will be very strong. The organization said in a statement that " the door of conflict with the enemy will not be closed because the Palestinian people are determined to continue the struggle until restoring back their complete rights."
Israeli settlers on the other hand, exploded charges near Palestinian shops in Hebron and stole its content at the full protection of the Israeli occupation forces.
Israeli bulldozers, on the other hand, uprooted hundreds of fruit trees in Beit Yahoun to the north of Gaza and destroyed the agricultural crops under the protection of the Israeli tanks which besieged the place since the early hours of Monday morning.
The Israeli forces, on the other hand, refused to release members of the Palestinian police men whom it kidnapped on Sunday in North Ramullah under the pretext of facilitating works of the Palestinian Intifada.
Arafat's advisor Nabil Abu Rudinah said that arresting members of the Palestinian police comes in the course of the new plan the Israeli army has already started against the Palestinians.
