Japan donates $ 3.6 million for drinking water supply in southern regions

The Japanese government has donated the Moroccan government $ 3.6 million (429 million Yens) to carry out a drinking water supply in Moroccan southern rural regions.
The project is set to benefit around 57,259 people in 137 localities.
Japan, has disbursed an estimated $ 1.69 million for various drinking water projects.
The Japanese assistance documents were signed here Friday by Moroccan equipment minister, Bouamour Taghouane, and Japan's ambassador in Rabat, Hiromi Sato.
