Moroccan foreign minister tours Arab gulf states

Moroccan minister of foreign affairs and cooperation, Mohamed Benaissa, starts this Thursday a tour in Arab Gulf states to reactivate cooperation between Morocco and these states.

Benaissa who was in Amman where he attended the Arab summit headed this Thursday for Abu Dhabi, the United Arab emirates, to explore means of energizing bilateral cooperation in the realms of economy, trade and investments.

He told MAP correspondents here that his talks will also cover the follow-up of accords concluded between the two countries and recalled that the Moroccan-UAE joint commission will hold a session in April in Morocco to discuss means of lowering obstacles hampering the promotion of bilateral cooperation.

Benaissa is accompanied by executives from the department of economy, finance, privatization and tourism, the Office National de Recherches Petroli¸res (ONAREP), and operators from the private sector.
