Saudi Arabia will not permit its land to be used for military acts against Iraq
Saudi Arabia-Iraq, Politics, 3/28/2001
The Saudi foreign minister prince Saud al-Faisal has renewed his country's rejection to any military acts that might be taken against Iraq, noting that the final statement of the Arab summit will include his country's assertion to not permit that her land will be a starting point to any military acts against Iraq.
In a statement to the Saudi daily al-Jazira, the Saudi foreign minister said that Saudi Arabia has been always against the military acts against Iraq. He explained that Saudi Arabia has conveyed its vision concerning the military operations against Iraq to the US secretary of state Colin Powell during his recent visit to the region.
