Acts of violence in Somalia

Two Somalis were killed in an attack carried out by armed men at the headquarters of Sans Frontier organization in Makadishu.

AFP quoted one of the headquarters's guard as saying that Somalis were killed in confrontation between the Somali security guards ad the gunmen who belong to " Mousa Sardi Yalho " group whose militias control one of the quarters to the south of Makadishu. On the other hand, AFP correspondent stressed that he saw members of the militias taking in an armored car two foreigners working with the " Sans Frontier " organization or the UN, SANA reported.

For his part an official at the " Sans frontier doctors" explained that the attack took place outside the offices while officials at the world health organization and from other UN agencies are preparing to visit the offices of the program of the sans frontier doctors to fight cholera.

The official added that most of the workers succeeded in returning back to the building, but two officials at the UN remained outside it and their fate is till unknown.
