An exhibition under the title " the Flourishing of the Umayyads of Cordoba" will be opened on May 1st in the Spanish city of Cordoba. The BBC correspondent in Spain said on Monday that due to the importance of this exhibition, it is expected that it will be open by the Spanish King Juan Carlos. The Turkish daily "Joumhureyat " said on Monday that Turkey is ready to open a new border gate to strengthen trade relations with Iraq. The paper added that the decision to open a new border gate provoked the US reaction which asked Turkey to limit its borders trade with Iraq, at a time when Ankara announced that the volume of its losses reached more than USD 35 billion as a result of the UN embargo imposed on Iraq.
