A Libyan- Chinese joint committee

Meetings of the joint Chinese- Libyan committee in the field of the economy and commerce chaired by the assistant secretary for cooperation in the people's general committee for foreign relations and international cooperation Saad Mustafa Mujber and the Chinese deputy foreign minister and economic cooperation Twang Shiang.
In an inaugural session in Tripoli on Sunday, the Chinese official expressed his country's satisfaction over the level of relations with Libya in all fields especially in the field of the economy. He stressed China's desire to promote relations with the African continent and commended the declaration of the African federation as a " historical event."
