New border gate between Turkey and Iraq

The Turkish daily "Joumhureyat " said on Monday that Turkey is ready to open a new border gate to strengthen trade relations with Iraq. The paper added that the decision to open a new border gate provoked the US reaction which asked Turkey to limit its borders trade with Iraq, at a time when Ankara announced that the volume of its losses reached more than USD 35 billion as a result of the UN embargo imposed on Iraq.
