Mubarak visits Paris
Egypt-France, Politics, 3/26/2001

President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt will head for Paris by the beginning of next week on his way for Washington and will meet with the US President Jacques Chirac. The French- Egyptian summit talks will deal with bilateral relations and the French investments in Egypt and its contributions to the efforts of developments and building of projects.

Discussions will also cover the project of the French university in Egypt and the extent of progress in it as well as results of the European and the Arab summits which will precede the French- Egyptian summit.

According to Egyptian sources there is a French commitment to promote political and economic cooperation with Egypt, besides France is among the countries which works with other sides concerned to rescue the peace process.
