On the other hand, the chairman of the Sudanese Ummah party al-Sadeq al-Mahdi has stressed that the dialogue between his party and the government is suspended at the meantime and it will be resumed after arranging matters relating to the new government and that the two sides will sign a new agreement as a second phase of the "Homeland call" ( Nidaa al-Watan) agreement ) they signed in Djibouti.
In a statement to the Sudanese paper the Sudanese "al-Sahafi al-Dawli al-Sudani" on Saturday al-Mahdi added that his party has not yet received from the two countries of the Libyan-Egyptian joint initiative what indicates the date and venue of the dialogue which will bring together the Sudanese opposition parties, stressing the need of rapid move to this effect.
Meantime, A scientific study prepared by a specialized Sudanese academic in the reserve economic sciences has estimated the Sudan's oil reserves are 183.2 billion barrels of oil.
The study which was issued on Saturday by the Sudanese daily al-Rai al-Am explained the Sudan's oil storage is only exceeded by the reserves of Saudi Arabia, adding that Sudan's oil reserves, on the other hand, exceed those of Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates UAE, Qatar and Bahrain.
