Osama al Baz, the president's political advisor underlined the fact that the Egyptian government had not and would never receive any fact-finding committees to investigate the religious freedoms in Egypt stressing that the concerns of the Egyptian citizens are their internal affairs.
In a statement in Washington, he said that none can dare to claim that there is any religious persecution or anything of the sort in Egypt.
On the visit of the religious freedoms committee to Egypt, he said that in case some factions have been furnished with forged information or others instigated on unjustifiably questions on some critical issues, there won't be any harm if such committees be briefed-just for knowledge, on the subject without the least unjustified interference.
Al Baz added that the non-governmental organizations that there are certain rules and if they need any information, we won't oppose to tell them since we have nothing to hide.
Only the UN Committees concerned are entitled to discuss the matter if any claims to human rights are raised on human rights violations.
In his statements after the meetings of the Egyptian delegation with the American officials, he said that there is no difference between a Moslems and a Christians in Egypt, equality of all people, regardless of their faiths, is an indispensable part of the national conscience.
This means that every citizen has to feel that he enjoys equal rights, whether he is a Moslem, a Christian, poor, rich supporter or opponent ;they are all citizens and that's what loyalty means.
